abstract |
A novel gene 'YS68' participating in early hematopoiesis is successfully isolated from cDNA originating in mouse yolk sac. Further, a human gene corresponding to the above gene is successfully isolated. Based on the expression characteristics, it is suggested that these genes would participate in early hematopoiesis. The protein and the gene encoding the same are usable as tools in developing drugs for diseases such as blood diseases. |
