Luminescent device and method for manufacturing the same, and display and illuminator comprising the same |
abstract |
An organic luminescent device (10) includes a luminescent area (3) between a positive electrode (2) and a negative electrode (4) on a substrate (1). The luminescent area (3) contains a polymer (3A), luminescent molecules (3G) that is a substance contributing to luminescence, and a charge transportation substance (3F). In the direction of the thickness of the film of the luminescent area (3), the concentrations of the luminescent molecule (3G) and the charge transportation substance (3F) are high near the negative electrode (4), and low near the positive electrode (2). A luminescent substance alone or a luminescent substance and a charge transportation substance both are infiltrated into a polymer or a polymer in which a charge transportation substance is dispersed. High luminescent efficiency is achieved and patterning is easy. |
