abstract The invention relates to substituted piperazine derivatives of general formula (I), in which: n represents the number 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5; m represents the number 2 or 3; X represents a carbon-carbon bond, an oxygen atom, a methylene group, an ethylene group, an imino group, or an N-(C1-3 alkyl)imino group; Ra represents a substituted phenyl group or heteroaryl group; Rb and Rc, independent of one another, represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-3 alkyl group; Rf and Rg, which can be the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom, C1-6 alkyl groups, C3-7 cycloalkyl groups, phenyl, heteroaryl, phenyl C1-3 alkyl groups or heteroaryl C1-3 alkyl groups; Rf and Rg, together with the nitrogen atom located therebetween, represent a 3-member to 7-member cycloalkylene imino group, whereby the methylene group can be additionally replaced in position 4 located in a 6-member or 7-member cycloalkenylene imino group by an oxygen atom or sulfur atom, by a sulfinyl group, a sulfonyl group, an imino group or by an N-(C1-3 alkyl)imino group. The invention also relates to the isomers and salts of the inventive piperazine derivatives, in particular, to the physiologically compatible salts thereof which depict valuable inhibitors of the microsomal triglyceride-transfer protein (MTP). The invention additionally relates to medicaments containing these compounds, to the use thereof and to their production.
