abstract |
A method of treating a polyol recovered through the decomposition of a polyurethane resin; and a polyol recovered through decomposition which is obtained by a treatment by the method. The method of treatment comprises suitably using any of the following treatments: adding an organic dicarboxylic acid or its anhydride to an amine-containing polyol recovered through decomposition and removing the resultant precipitate; adding an isocyanate compound to an amine-containing polyol recovered through decomposition; adding an oxide compound to an amine-containing polyol recovered through decomposition; and adding urea to an amine-containing polyol recovered through decomposition. |
