titleOfInvention | A RED FLUORESCENT MATERIAL BASED ON SrTiO3 |
abstract | The present invention relates to a red fluorescent material based on strontium titanate (SrTiO3) for low voltage and a preparing method thereof, and more particularly to a red fluorescent material based on SrTiO3 for low voltage and preparing method thereof expressed in the following formula (1): SrTiO3: aPr, (bAl, cGa), by adding praseodymium chloride (PrCl3) as an activator along with a co-activator, which is either aluminum hydroxide [Al(OH)3] alone or a mixture of Al(OH)3 and gallium oxide (Ga2O3), to said SrTiO3, which provides 1) an excellent luminance and a color purity under low speed electron rays, 2) stable physical properties under high vacuum, thus being suitable for the field emission displays (FEDs) driven by the excitation of low voltage electron rays. In said formula, a is in the range of 0.0005 ∩ 0.01, b is 0 ∩ 1.0 (exclusive of 0) and c is 0 ∩ 3.0, respectively. |
