According to said method, the organic compound is brought into contact with a shaped body in the presence of hydrogen, said shaped body being produced according to a method in which: (i) an oxidic material containing copper oxide, zinc oxide and aluminium oxide is prepared; (ii) powder-form metallic copper or powder-form cement or a mixture thereof is added to said oxidic material; and (iii) the mixture resulting from (ii) is moulded into a shaped body. |
