titleOfInvention Layer between a cathode and an interconnector of a fuel cell and method for producing a layer of this type
abstract The invention relates to temperature resistant, electroconductive connections between a ceramic and a metallic component. Said connections are produced with a sintered, electroconductive paste. The relatively low sintering temperatures for ceramics mean that only material types with a comparatively low melting point can be used. Cuprates with melting points between 800 °C and 1400 °C are particularly suitable. According to the inventive method, a paste comprising a cuprate material is doctored onto an interconnector. The interconnector with the applied paste is then sintered together with other fuel cell components and connected to the same. The joining process can be matched to the glass solder used for gas sealing by choosing the appropriate cuprate.
