abstract An electrophotographic toner which comprises a binder resin and a colorant and is for use in an electrophotographic process in which toner images transferred are fixed by the flash fixing method, wherein the binder resin is a polyester resin at least part of which is insoluble in chloroform, and the toner contains a polypropylene resin and a resin of the ester type represented by formula (I) (wherein p, q, m, and n each is an integer of 16 to 22; and R's may be the same or different and each represents hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl). The toner fixed can have greatly improved adhesion strength, and the generation of voids during printing and the emission of smoke or offensive odor during fixing can be inhibited.
