An interlayer for laminated glasses which does not cause the moire phenomenon even when having an embossed pattern with grooves and ridges disposed regularly or arranged at a regular interval, hence has satisfactory workability in cutting or laminating, and is highly effective in expelling air in preliminary press bonding; and a high-quality laminated glass produced with the same which is almost free from quality defects caused by residual bubbles. The interlayer is highly effective in air expelling even without strictly controlling the air expelling initiation temperature in the preliminary press bonding, is excellent in nonblocking properties during storage, handleability during glass processing, and productivity, and can be easily and efficiently used under various processing conditions. It comprises a thermoplastic resin sheet having on each side thereof an embossed pattern comprising grooves and ridges. |
