titleOfInvention | Emzyme-assisted cell death |
abstract | The invention relates to targeted therapy to localise therapeutic agents to a diseased cell. The agent acts to deplete essential nutrients being supplied to, or present in, a diseased cell. Therefore, the agent, when localised at the cell, causes cell death by creating an environment with depleted nutrients. The agent is preferably an enzyme that converts essential nutrients into an inactive form. The agent is localised at the cell using antibodies or polymers. |
