titleOfInvention | Rheumatic autoimmune disease antigen |
abstract | The invention relates to the utilization of reaction products as antigens for the diagnosis and therapy of rheumatic autoimmune diseases, especially rheumatic arthritis. Said reaction products are obtained by reacting proteins and/or peptides with reactive substances that react under physiological conditions with functional protein and/or peptide groups by forming covalent bonds, whereby the reaction products are recognized by the antibodies of patients suffering from rheumatic autoimmune diseases. The invention also relates to the utilization and synthesis of bis[aminothiols], bis-hydrazine derivatives or bis-amine derivatives as therapeutic agents for diseases caused by dicarbonyl; especially rheumatic arthritis. |
