titleOfInvention Method for assaying anti-gad antibody and kit
abstract A safe and high-performance method for detecting and assaying anti-GAD antibody which exhibits a high sensitivity and a high specificity comparable to those achieved by radioimmunoassay; and a kit therefor. The above method is characterized by bringing a specimen into contact with a support carrying a recombinant GAD antigen solid phase, thus bonding the antigen to the antibody contained in the specimen to thereby form a complex, and detecting the complex with the use of chemiluminescent dioxetane having a group which can be cleaved with an enzyme and an antibody labeled with an enzyme capable of cleaving the above group to thereby induce chemiluminescence.
