| abstract |
The invention concerns a mobile telephone system wherein a plurality of proximal terminals (BAi, BBi) are spatially distributed to enable wireless communication with portable user stations over a wide geographical coverage. On the other hand, a central management station (100) relays user communications passing through said proximal terminals to a telephone network, and records the call charge rates, on behalf of an operator. At least one terminal is designed such that it covers substantially exactly the selected perimeter (P). The processing of at least one application associated with the calls, for example the call charge rates, is modulated on the basis of said calls passing through the designed terminal. |
