titleOfInvention Impregnated antiperspirant active ingredients, coated with surfactants
abstract The invention relates to preparations which inhibit perspiration, containing particularly fine particles of astringent aluminium, zirconium, or zinc salts with an average particle size of less than 100 mu m and which are coated or impregnated with between 0.1 and 10 % by weight of a non-ionic surfactant. Said preparations are suitable for producing antiperspirants which do not contain water and which have a particularly fast-acting and intensive effect. An alkyl (oligo) glucoside is preferably used as the non-ionic surfactant and an aluminium hydroxychloride as the antiperspirant salt. A preferred embodiment provides an antiperspirant stick which contains between 10 and 60 % by weight of a non-polar support liquid and between 5 and 30 % by weight of a solidifying fat or wax component which contains a dispersion of between 10 and 25 % by weight of the antiperspirant preparation.
