abstract | The present invention relates to supplementary drinks used in the diagnosis of diabetes, and more specifically to the composition of said drinks used in the diagnosis by means of oral medication wherein the role of said diagnostic drinks are much strengthened by maintaining the standardized glucose concentration suitable for the diagnosis and steady and consistent supply of said supplemental drinks as well as imparting a variety of flavors and tastes sufficient to appeal to most examines thus minimizing the usual unwillingness for the examination, thereby enabling to keep the traditional erroneous diagnoses to its minimum level and lead to the more exact and precise diagnostic results. The composition of supplementary drinks in the present invention comprises 20-80 % of glucose concentration, 0.1-1g of monohydrate form citric acid, 0.1-1g of sodium benzoate, 0.01-1 % flavor, at least 0.001g of edible pigment and adequate amount of water. |
