abstract |
A color liquid-crystal display where the arrangement of cells of multilayer structure are accurate and a cell structure are efficiently manufactured. Defect due to damage to an interlayer film of the color liquid-crystal display is suppressed, the voltage loss at the interlayer film is decreased, and the reflectivity is improved. A color developer is put in the liquid crystal cell of each pixel of each layer in advance, and thereafter a liquid crystal is sealed in. The liquid crystal of each layer is injected through a common hole, and the sealing of each layer is carried out by making use of suction of the sealing resin because of heat shrinkage of the liquid crystal. The multilayer cell structure is composed of a material which sublimates when irradiated with ultraviolet radiation and the nonirradiated portion of which is cured thermally and a material film which the vaporized molecules permeate. |
