abstract A game ball having a cover comprising a blend of ionomer and a nonionomeric material selected from polyolefin polymers and co-polymers, polyamides, thermoplastic elastomers, block copolymers and syndiotactic resins. The blend is treated with at least 1 megarad of radiation to improve scuff and cut resistance. The ball is preferably a golf ball.
