abstract |
A rubber composition which is crosslinkable with hot air or a hot press and gives a hot-air-crosslinked rubber sheet which receives no scratch on the surface in an HB pencil hardness test and has a compression set of 70% or lower through 22-hour heat treatment at 150°C. The composition comprises: an ethylene/α-olefin/unconjugated polyene random copolymer rubber wherein the unconjugated polyene is a specific norbornene compound terminated by a vinyl group; and a compound having two or more SiH groups per molecule. It may optionally contain an addition reaction catalyst comprising a platinum-group metal and a reaction inhibitor. |
