Method for the in vitro testing of active ingredients, corresponding device and their use |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method for the in vitro testing of active ingredients in cells, which includes at least the following steps: provision of a cell culture dish having an inner chamber and an outer wall as well as a first and a second membrane system positioned in the inner chamber, a cell culture chamber being configured between the membrane systems and the inner wall of the inner chamber; introduction of a cell culture and a cell culture medium into the cell culture chamber; addition of a liquid nutrient medium to the cell culture chamber; removal of products of metabolism by means of the first membrane system; delivery of at least one gaseous medium to the cell culture chamber by means of the second membrane system; addition of at least one active ingredient into the cell culture chamber in accordance with a set active- ingredient concentration-time curve; and monitoring of cell vitality. The invention also relates to a device and to the use of said device for testing the effect of idarubicin on the leukaemic cell line CCRF CEM. |
