titleOfInvention Production method for dielectric porcelain composition and production method for dielectric layer-containing electronic parts
abstract A production method for a dielectric porcelain composition having at least BaTiO3 as a main component, a second subcomponent represented by (Ba,Ca)x SiO2+x(x=0.8 to 1.2) and other subcomponents. The main component and at least part of the other subcomponents (excluding the second subcomponent) are mixed together to prepare pre-calcination powder which is then calcinated to provide calcinated powder. At least the second subcomponent is mixed with the calcinated powder to obtain a dielectric porcelain composition where ratios of respective subcomponents to BaTiO3 as the main component are to be specified molar ratios. A monolithic ceramic capacitor can be obtained which can satisfy, even in the case of an ultra-thin dielectric layer as thin as up to 4 νm, both X7R characteristics (EIA Spec.) and B characteristics (EIAJ Spec.) that are capacity temperature characteristics, and which is small in capacity change with time in a dc electric field, long in acceleration life of insulation resistance and small in capacity reduction under a dc bias.
