abstract |
An improved process for producing polybutadiene golf ball cores is carried out using a sheeter (56) apparatus that forms sheets (33) of golf ball core stock (54). The sheeter (56) has a sheeter inlet positioned proximate an internal mixer (14) outlet and also a sheeter outlet. The golf ball cores are made from polybutadiene rubber compositions having a high Mooney viscosity and/or a high molecular weight and low polydispersity. |
