abstract In accordance with the present invention there is provided a method for the thinning of flowers and fruit in plants, comprising applying an effective amount of the organosilicone known as 'SILWET-408'. The present invention results in the thinning of a large variety of fruit plants and in the case of Orlah fruit the almost total removal of said fruit from the plant.
