The invention relates to electrolyte systems for lithium batteries with enhanced safety. Said systems have at least one conducting salt containing lithium and at least one electrolyte liquid. According to the invention, said electrolyte systems are characterized by an active content of a partially fluorinated compound derived from diol having formula (I): R<1>CO-O-[CHR<3>(CH2)m-O]n-R<2>, wherein R<1> is (C1-C8)-alkyl or (C3-C8) cycloalkyl, wherein each of the above-mentioned radicals is partially fluorinated or perfluorinated so that at least one hydrogen atom of the radical is substituted by fluorine; R<2> represents (C1-C8) alkyl carbonyl or (C3-C8) cycloalkyl carbonyl, wherein each of the above-mentioned radicals for R<2> may be optionally fluorinated or perfluorinated in part; R<3> represents hydrogen, (C1-C8) alkyl or (C3-C8) cycloalkyl, m represents 0, 1, 2 or 3 and n represents 1, 2 or 3. |
