The invention relates to a bipolar medical instrumentith an elongate shaft (12) and two tongs (14, 16) at the distal end of the shaft (12). Said tongs (14, 16) are flexibly linked to one another and are each configured as an electrode which can be impinged upon by a high-frequency current. The tongs (14, 16) have a respective metal base body (28, 30) which are flexibly linked to one another. Said metal base bodies (28, 30) have a respective insulating element (32, 34) on their sides opposing one another. Conductor elements which form the respective electrodes are linked to the insulating elements (32, 34). Two power leads which are insulated from one another extend through the shaft (12) up to the conductor elements and are conductively connected to said conducting elements. |
