titleOfInvention Photochromic articles
abstract Photochromic articles e.g. toys, comprising a polymeric base resin and a dedicated photochromic compound capable to change its original color quickly to a new one due to a photochemical reaction induced by exposing the article to UV radiation. The compounds retain the new color for a long period of time without significant fading and fatigue. The photochromic articles are suitable for industrial manufacturing by available manufacturing routes and with wide assortment of commercially available polymeric resins.
