abstract | The invention relates to a metallic pulse generator housing comprising a tubular connector (2) adapted to receive a proximal lead end plug (34), the connector being located inside the housing and having a closed end within said housing and an open end welded or bonded to an opening in a wall of the housing. Said connector (2) comprises a metallic barrel (4) being weldable or bondable (at 62) to the metallic housing and constituting a structurally unitary tube member with a cavity (6) containing electric contact means for contacting contact surfaces on said lead end plug (34), at least one insulating substrate means (14), which is provided with said contact means (20, 22), being arranged in or on a region of a barrel wall portion defining said cavity (6). |
