abstract A soundproof cover provided with a soundproof layer and applied to pipes of a plumbing system and an air-conditioner for buildings, characterized by comprising a sound absorption film provided on an inner surface of the soundproof layer and a spacer mounted on an outer side of the sound absorption film, the spacer being adapted to secure a space between the sound absorption film and a pipe when the soundproof cover is fitted around the pipe, thus enabling the weight of the soundproof cover to be reduced, the handling efficiency thereof to be improved, and the soundproofing performance thereof to be also improved.
