abstract |
The invention relates to a heat-sensitive recording material with safety characteristics, comprising a support paper with a recording layer disposed on one side containing colorants reacting with each other under the effect of heat and organic color acceptors. A water-insoluble azine dye that cannot be seen with the naked eye is embedded in the support paper as safety characteristic, causing a conspicuous coloring with an organic solvent or an acid when the surface on the side of the recording material opposite the recording layer is used. A water-soluble colorant that fluoresces when submitted to ultra-violet radiation and that has a regular or irregular pattern is applied on the side of the support paper opposite the recording layer, said colorant causing a color reaction when coming in contact with an alkaline substance and resulting in a permanent color that fluoresces in the daylight. |
