abstract Systems (60) and methods for real-time playing casino games are provided. These systems have displays (102, 103) on displays (100) which can be modified and show virtual playing cards (107, 108, 142) or symbols for players. The acts of shuffling, cutting, distributing and making cards involve data processing functions in an electronic processor (90) which performs these operations quickly, without manual cards. The invention accelerates the game, which reduces the risk of cheating while preserving an authentic game table atmosphere. The systems (60) can be in the form of multiplayer slot machines with game processors (90 ) which use either virtual playing cards or cards with symbols (1161-3). The subsets of symbols drawn by the participants are compared to a predetermined list for the payment of winnings in the case of winning symbols.
