abstract The invention relates to a method for preparing or purifying aqueous solutions of a tertiary amino oxide, especially process waters resulting from the production of cellulose shaped bodies, e.g. used precipitation baths, comprising separation of turbidities and solid impurities from the solution. The method disclosed in the invention is characterized in that turbidities and impurities are separated at least in part by means of a flotation process.
