titleOfInvention Low-molecular fragments of hyaluronic acid for the preparation of vaccines
abstract The invention relates to the use of possibly suitably modified low-molecular hyaluronic acid fragments for the preparation of vaccines. The vaccines are especially suitable for the treatment of cancer. Surprisingly it was found that possibly suitably modified low-molecular hyaluronic acid fragments can be used both to produce mature dendritic cells and, together with antigens, peptides or carrier systems, directly as adjuvants in vaccines. Said possibly suitably modified low-molecular hyaluronic acid fragments can also be coupled to an antigen, peptide or carrier system and this coupled system can advantageously be used as a vaccine, notably for the treatment of cancer.
