abstract The invention concerns a method for reactivating a catalyst for cyclizing hydrolysis of an aminonitrile for making lactams. More particularly, it concerns the reactivation of solid catalysts used in processes for producing lactams by cyclizing hydrolysis of aminonitriles. Said reactivating method consists in treating the spent catalyst at a temperature ranging between 300 DEG C and 600 DEG C with an oxidizing atmosphere.
