abstract |
A germicidal composition comprises a liquid polymer composition and a germicidal agent. The liquid polymer composition may comprise polydimethylsiloxane and the germicidal agent is preferably in a non-volatile solvent carrier. In use the germicidal composition retains its germ killing capability when dry. It may therefore be used to impart long term sterility to a wide range of products for environments required to be germ free, such as hospitals and food preparation areas. |
