abstract The invention provides a method for treating cancer, said method comprising administering to a patient a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula I, which is inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase signaling pathways (PL3K) or administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula I, together with one or more autophagic inhibitors. In a preferred embodiment the autophagic inhibitor is chloroquine.
