A nematocidal composition that includes (a) at least one carbamate and (b) at least one neonicotinoid and / or chloronicotinyl. In an illustrative embodiment, the carbamate can be presented as an oxime carbamate, such as thiodicarb and the neonicotinoid can be a nitroguanidine. In a specific embodiment, nitroguanidine includes imidacloprid and / or clothianidine. An illustrative method of the invention includes the application of a composition according to the invention to the soil or to a plant (e.g., seeds or leaves) to combat damage by nematodes and / or increase yield. |
