Epothilones in which the thiazole substituent has been modified, with methods for its preparation and with fungicidal or therapeutic agents that contain these epothilones. The compound of formula (I) that is characterized in that P-Q is a C, C double bond or an epoxide; G is figure (A); R selects from the group of H, alkyl or substituted alkyl; R1 is selected from the group consisting of (Figure B), where G1 is H, alkyl, substituted alkyl, and halogen; G2 is selected from H, alkyl, and substituted alkyl; G3 is O, S and NZ1; G4 is H, alkyl., Substituted alkyl, OZ2 ,, NZ2Z3; G5 is halogen, N3NCS, SH, CN, N (Z1) 3+ and heterocycle; Z1 and Z3 are H, alkyl, acyl, substituted acyl, Z2 is H, alkyl, aryl and heterocycle. These compounds are useful in the treatment of carcinomas, including of the chest, ovarian, lung, pancreas, viral infections and kidney disease. |
