abstract A microbicidal composition for plants comprising at least two active ingredient components in a synergistically effective amount, together with a suitable vehicle, wherein the first component is selected from the group: 1- [3- (2-chlorophenyl) -2- (4-fluorophenyl) oxidan-2-ylmethyl) -1H-1,2,4-triazole (epoxiconazole); 4- (4-chlorophenyl) -2-2- (1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl) -butyronitrile (fenbuconazole); 5- (4-chlorobenzyl) -2,2-dimethyl-1- (1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl) -cyclopentanol (metconazole); 2- (2,4-dichlorophenyl) -3- (1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl) propyl-1,1,2,2-tetrafluotoethyl ether (tetraconazole); 1- [4-romo-2- (2,4-dichlorophenyl) tetrahydrofurfuryl] -1H-1,2,4-triazole (bromuconazole); or in each case a metal salt or complex thereof; and where the second component is 1- [2- (2,4-dichlorophenyl) -4-propyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-ylmethyl] -1H-1,2,4-triazole (propiconazole) or a salt or metal complex thereof. The composition as described is useful in the control and prevention of fungal ingestion of plants.
