abstract A lubricant composition includes at least one branched polyglycerol ether, and more particularly at least one branched polyglycerol ether and at least one dispersant. A method for reducing fuel consumption of a vehicle utilizing a lubricant composition is also provided. Furthermore, a use of a branched polyglycerol ether as a friction modifier in a lubricant composition is disclosed.
