abstract An electrophoresis display apparatus of this disclosure is provided with a pair of substrates, an electrophoresis layer including electrophoresis particles and a dispersion medium in which the electrophoresis particles are dispersed, a barrier wall which is arranged between the pair of substrates and divides a cell in which the electrophoresis layer is arranged, and a sealing member which seals the electrophoresis layer arranged in the cell, in which the sealing member includes a first layer and a second layer laminated on the first layer, and in which the electric resistance of the second layer is lower than that of the first layer.
