abstract |
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an optical film having a large phase difference value, small moisture-induced fluctuation in the phase difference value, small photoelastic coefficient and excellent bondability with a polarizer. The optical film includes a cellulose ester (A) which satisfy formulae (1) and (2) below and a vinyl-based polymer (B). A content ratio of the cellulose ester (A) and the vinyl-based polymer (B) is from 95:5 to 50:50 by mass, the vinyl-based polymer (B) is composed of a non-aromatic vinyl-based monomer having a solubility parameter of 17.5 (MPa 1/2 ) or larger and smaller than 20.0 (MPa 1/2 ) and a weight average molecular weight of the vinyl-based polymer (B) is from 500 to 10,000: wheren n1.0≦ X+ΣY i <2.0 formula (1)n n4.0≦2× X +Σ( n i ×Y i )<6.0. formula (2) |
