abstract The present invention relates to a particulate superabsorbent polymer composition which absorbs water, aqueous liquids, and blood, and a process to make the superabsorbent polymers, wherein a superabsorbent polymer is surface treated with a neutralized multivalent metal salt solution having a pH value similar as that of human skin. The present invention also relates to particulate superabsorbent polymer composition having high Gel Bed Permeability and high Absorbency Under Load.
