titleOfInvention Treatment of ashy skin by a topical composition and methods of manufacture thereof
abstract A topical preparation for treating ashy skin and a method of manufacture thereof. The topical preparation is a single phase, hydrophobic, lipophilic preparation comprising plant-based butters that have a melting point around the temperature of the skin surface. The melting point of the mixture is stabilized by a tempering process, minimizing polymorphism. The topical preparation is applied to skin having an ashy appearance and is absorbed into the top layers without leaving a white residue. The topical preparation is translucent, non-irritating and has natural sunscreen properties.
