titleOfInvention Lockdown button for gaming machines and devices
abstract Techniques providing lock down of a gaming machine by a wireless device associated with a user. A request from a wireless device to lock down the gaming machine is received at the gaming machine or a network server in communication with the gaming machine. The gaming machine or network server determines whether the user associated with the wireless device has access to lock down the gaming machine. Upon determining that the user has access, the user is allowed to lock down the gaming machine with the wireless device. Lock down may include placing the gaming machine in an unplayable state.
