abstract Disclosed is a polymer foam with density in the range from 5 to 120 kg/m 3 composed of a polymer component including at least one styrene polymer and from 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of a flame retardant mixture including at least one phosphorus compound of the formula PR 1 R 2 R 3 . A process for producing the polymer is also disclosed.
