abstract A computer-implemented method for optimizing communication performance based on antenna polarization, comprising transmitting a data stream to a client device using at least one antenna structure having one or more antenna polarization, determining a need to adjust antenna polarization, selecting an antenna from the at least one antenna structure, determining an antenna polarization adjustment based on a level of communication performance of the at least one antenna structure, and dynamically making the antenna polarization adjustment for the data stream being transmitted using the selected antenna.
