abstract [Problems] To provide a marker which is useful in diagnosing leukemia and a method of using the same. n [Means for Solving Problems] A method of detecting a leukemia cell which comprises detecting a CD34-positive cell being negative in DOCK180 expression from a blood specimen. According to this method, a DOCK180 expression pattern specific to a tumor cell in leukemia, in particular, acute leukemia is confirmed so that information which is useful in diagnosing leukemia and monitoring and determining the severity and degree of recovery of the same by a doctor can be obtained by a convenient procedure using blood specimens and thus provided.
