abstract | Some embodiments include a photocurable ink composition for ink jet recording contains a cholesteric liquid crystal polymer, a polymerizable compound, and a photopolymerization initiator. In some embodiments, an ink jet recording method, comprising a process (a) for ejecting the photocurable ink composition for ink jet recording onto a recording medium using an ink jet recording apparatus, and a process (b) for irradiating the ejected photocurable ink composition for ink jet recording with light having an emission peak wavelength in the range of 350 nm or more and 430 nm or lower from a light source is disclosed. |
