abstract The present invention relates to a method for separating and purifying a lactone compound with an unsaturated alkyl group from a lactone compound with a saturated alkyl group which is an analog thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for effectively separating a lactone compound with an unsaturated alkyl group such as FK506 at high purity by extraction with a silver ion (Ag + ) solution without use of column chromatography.
