abstract The present disclosure provides an amide friction modifier which exhibits improved low temperature compatibility with fuel. The amide friction modifier is formed from a hyper-branched fatty acid and an amine. Methods to reduce the frictional property of a fuel and a fuel composition including the amide friction modifier are also disclosed.
