abstract A apparatus for ligating living tissues comprises an introducing tube capable of being inserted into a living body cavity, at least two or more manipulating wires movably inserted into the introducing tube, and at least two or more clips having a proximal end portion, a pinch section being formed at a distal end of an arm section extending from the proximal end. This clipping apparatus is characterized in that a plurality of clips are arranged in series in the introducing tube so as to engage the clip and the manipulating wire with each other, respectively.
